Race to Save The Planet Challenge

A challenge to reduce Green House Gas Emissions and Carbon Footprint of organizations and households in Trinidad and Tobago.

Climate change poses an unprecedented threat to our planet, affecting ecosystems, weather patterns, and communities worldwide. The Caribbean region, known for its stunning biodiversity and vibrant cultures, is particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and disruptions to agriculture threaten the very essence of life in the Caribbean. In response to this urgent crisis, the "Race to Save the Planet" challenge aims to empower organizations, such as schools, religious entities, and NGOs to actively contribute to reducing their carbon footprint, fostering sustainable practices, and building resilience against the impacts of climate change. Individuals are also welcomed to participate and reduce their household carbon footprint.
